Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation – Class Reconsideration
Members who are classified as a Class C can request a reconsideration of their class determination.
Generally, the member has 30 days from the decision to apply for a reconsideration.
If a member medically discharges and the determination is outside of the 30-day period, they will need to include a cover letter to state the reasons why they did not apply for a reconsideration within a 30-day time period – a delegate will then decide whether the reconsideration request will be considered.
